Critical Mass Seattle, April 2007

I used my Nikon D80 and Tokina 12-24mm lens, handheld (as opposed to handlebar-mounted, which I’ve done in the past). I used the built-in flash for many of the pics.

Downside: with this big lens I have to use it at 20mm+ to avoid showing the flash shadow cast by the girth of the lens barrel.

Now that the weather’s picking up, the number of riders is (really) picking up. We had about 300 vs. about 100 during the rides over the winter.

If you’re interested, this takes place the last Friday of every month, and we meet at Westlake Center downtown. It’s a blast, and the pace is slow.
